Swedish non-profit organisation Föreningen Kammarmusik NU was founded in 2009 to develop, support and realise innovative and new projects where contemporary music is contextualised to meet new audience.
The organisation has over the years produced and presented a number of interdisciplinary productions including VOICES (in partnership with Amnesty International), SAIYAH by Benjamin Staern and Yoko Seyama at Umeå European Capital of Culture 2014 and BOGOLUCHIE at the Bergen Autunnale Festival. The organisation has also commissioned major works by composer including Djuro Zivkovic, Anders Hillborg, Kate Moore, Francisco Coll and Pete Harden.
